2025 – A year to remember

2025 was a big one. The year kicked off with the launch of my second book — a milestone moment that began with a fun photo shoot to update my visuals and culminated in a joyful book launch celebration surrounded by mates, clients and long-time supporters.

It was also a year of rich media moments. I especially loved visiting the LinkedIn offices to film a short piece with Brendan Wong. Thank you, Brendan, for that experience.
As I reflect on the year, what stands out are the snapshots of time spent with incredible clients — both old and new — in some truly beautiful places.

From Italy to Port Macquarie
Travel took me to Italy and France with the team at Gnosis, and to Bangkok to spend time with our colleagues based in Asia. Closer to home, I had the pleasure of working with some brilliant organisations across Australia.
A few highlights:
Kicking off new work with HIVIS in Newcastle and Linked Community Services in Port Macquarie.
Deep-diving into leadership and culture with Western Downs Civil, a civil engineering firm punching well above its weight.
Reconnecting with long-standing clients like Pentana Solutions in Melbourne — 10 years and counting, and still evolving. Delivering the leadership training component of the Future Leadership Program with LuxEscapes for the fourth year running.
Supporting Entourage on their continued growth journey with a strategy session on their second annual visit to Byron Bay.
Continuing transformational journeys with Candlefox — who were recognised with a Human Synergistics Culture Transformation Award — and Viridian Glass, who are rising to meet significant supply chain challenges following the closure of Australia’s last local glass manufacturing plant.

Hospitality, education and purpose-led impact
I loved the energy of working again with the Soletel Group, running their leadership conferences for an ever-passionate group of hospitality leaders. And I was welcomed back for another powerful session with IDP Education — a team largely made up of migrants themselves, supporting immigration pathways with heart and purpose.
One of the joys of this work is when clients pass through Byron and reach out. I had a beautiful lunch with Andre Roza from Pentana on his road trip with his wife and family and a great catch-up with David Trewern who’s off to exciting new ventures post Flite Board.

A new chapter: board leadership
Something that had been on my bucket list for a long time finally came to life this year — joining the board of LeaderLife in Dubbo, a not-for-profit doing phenomenal work with vulnerable kids who need that extra hand and support. It’s a privilege to contribute in a governance role to such meaningful work.
And just before signing off for the year, I was in Milan running a leadership conference for an audience of 150 native Italian speakers — an experience that stretched and energised me in equal measure.
Now, as the year winds down, I’m looking forward to moving into a new home with my family and taking some time to reset over January.
To everyone who’s supported me this year — thank you. I feel deeply grateful to do the work I do, travel the way I do, and partner with such good humans.
Here’s to 2025 — a year of milestones, memories, and meaningful work.
And one last snapshot… a life highlight: meeting the incredible Alisa Camplin at one of my YPO workshops. I remember watching her leap into the unknown to bring home gold for Australia at the Winter Olympics. To meet the woman behind that moment? A day I’ll never forget!
