TIME TO BE CHALLENGED

Last week I spoke at the Future of Leadership summit at the Brisbane Convention Centre. It was my privilege to help motivate and shape the thinking of emerging and established leaders as they look to lead beyond this pandemic.

I spoke on “uncovering the secrets to leading high-performing teams”…and the truth is… it’s not a secret, it’s a system…and once you’ve embedded the system into your organisation, it really is simple.

The Trans-Tasman Conference was held across seven cities (including Auckland) and included some incredible speakers including Olympic swimming star Brooke Hanson OLY OAM, non-binary crusader Jules Green, award-winning TV & Film Producer Marion Farrelly and many more.

I always feel so blessed to walk out on stage and share my thoughts. Through Covid we all distanced ourselves, held our own spaces, looked at the world through a screen.

And this has only made me understand and appreciate more how we as humans learn, how we engage, how we crave social interaction.

So, I am here to declare conferencing is officially back on!!!

Sure, the world has changed forever, we don’t need to get on planes as often, we don’t need to attend the same old functions… but this is where learning and development opportunities stand on their own.
