Last week I finished a round of 360-degree debriefs with a team who were hiding in plain sight. They were each too afraid of sharing their authentic voice – using approval and dependency behavioural styles as a way of staying safe. They were led by a boss who was overconfident and dominating. She wasn’t aware her behaviour was having such a negative effect.
